A wedding, a record setting 10,000th beer auction, the most pyramids constructed outside of ancient Egypt and most critical, a cold steady rain conveniently stopped around 11:30 am and allowed for the nearly 1,000 attendees the ability to play outside as well as inside and fully deliver the unbridled craziness that accompanies the drinking of 10,000 PBRs.

Most importantly the PBR10K'18 raised $25,000 for Directions For Youth & Families

Congrats to Mitch and Jen Hatcher for allowing us to be part of the very first PBR10K wedding. The PLF doesn't have much experience in the wedding planning game but things seemed to go off extremely well.

Thank you to the Clapham Crew led by John Hamilton who won the 10,000th PBR Auction with a record winning bid of $1,750 which honored the memory of the great Brad Clapham.

The building boom was prevalent again at the PBR as several PBR pyramids were constructed by many of the groups as well as the traditional PBR can limbo bar.

February 24 was a very good day indeed.

For the stat geeks out there:

  • PBR10K'18 was the 11th Parker Lee Foundation/Pabst Blue Ribbon event. The first, the PBR500, took place at Gallo's Tap Room
  • We have raised $148,795 from the PLF/PBR events.
  • Approximately 67,000 cans of PBR have been consumed during these events (we've over achieved some years).
  • Well over 1,000 pizzas have been devoured.

The PBR10K'18 wouldn't be possible without the help and support of the folks below. The Parker Lee Foundation thanks you from the bottom of our hearts.
